This place is incredible! Here is a look into Part I of my Australia Travel Diary. Our time there was filled with so much adventure and beauty. Can’t wait to go back!
We decided to road trip down around the Peninsula located south-east of Melbourne. We started in Mornington on our first day and took in the breathtaking views high above from Arthur’s Seat. We then moved from Rye Beach to Sorrento Beach and further down to Portsea. I can’t tell you how amazing Portsea is. I went last year and had to come back. Tucked in at the tip of the Peninsula, Portsea is a resort town with some of the cutest shops, best dinning and some ridic real estate. It’s one of my favorite places to wander through and get inspired by. After a few little café stops, we made our way through to Point Napean National Park and took in an unreal sunset to end our first day.
I decided to keep my attire light and playful as we made our way through these beach towns. I wore this beautiful H&M emerald green pleated dress, my Valentino sandals and my Rag & Bone fedora. I thought it was perfect for the sandy beaches, café stops and long coastal walks.
We headed to some of the most exciting places the next day – the back beaches of Australia are on another level of amazing. Koonya Beach is just crazy beautiful! Gorgeous reefs and huge cliffs surround this beach in every which way. We climbed to the top and looked onto St. Andrews Beach and Cape Schank. We ended the day with candy colored skies and a delicious seaside dinner.
If you’re booked for a warm holiday getaway this Christmas, here are some resort wear options below! Stay tuned for Part II of the travel diary…
