The second half of my Australia Travel Diary explores some of my favorite activities: cheese + wine! After a memorable experience seeing the back beaches, we decided to enjoy our time taking in some of the best food and drinks. Invited for a private cheese experience by the fabulous owners at Red Hill Cheese, we tried some of the best artisanal cheese at their secluded property in the forest. With gorgeous views, we indulged in incredible flavors and delicate textures…mmm! My favorite was the Merricks Mist (of course Brie). These guys are so serious about their cheese – it’s the cutest.
I wanted my look to be modern, casual and chic. I knew we’d be on the go so I wanted something comfortable, but pulled together. I know white always has the power to pull a look together, so I opted for a white distressed denim and tee. The trench coat casually transformed this look to chic… and voila, neutral tones for the win.
We ventured to T’Gallant to wash down the cheese shortly after ; ) Like any vineyard, this place is beautiful. They usually host large gatherings and wine tastings, but we decided to have lunch there and head to our final stop. We ended our trip at Port Phillip Estate – an incredible experience and one of my favorite architectural spaces to date. This winery is beyond breathtaking. Designed by award-winning Wood/Marsh Architecture, the space is an abstract sculptural building that lies on the Mornington Peninsula with panoramic views of the vineyard and the sea. Incredibly modern and so sexy!! I can’t tell you enough how incredible this place is!
I couldn’t have asked for a better trip. Thankful I got to experience all of this beauty!
