For many of us, days just sometimes seem to slip away. While it may be difficult to control some of what goes on during the day, we can control how we begin and end our days. We can CHOOSE, we can take ACTION, we can get PARTICULAR and find a ROUTINE. I often have to remind myself that I am what my habits are. Getting into a healthy routine – one that starts on a positive note and ends on a positive note, is the best thing I can do for myself. I believe that beauty comes from the inside out and so does happiness. While our daily circumstances can sway how we feel, I know that being rooted in foundational truths and good habits help me stay grounded and balanced.
My morning routine always starts with a workout. Staying healthy and fit has become more important to me as I’ve gotten older. I want to make my body a priority and give it the best it deserves! Getting my endorphins rushing and knowing I’m working on my healthy heart is the best way to start my day. What I do next is what I believe to be even more important! I pray and meditate. I’ll literally collapse on my floor, take my socks off, stretch and give some time to my mind and spirit.
I think carving out “me time” is crucial for us all. Grabbing my coffee, ready to take on the day has got to be the best feeling right after. There’s no better feeling then grabbing my Starbucks® Bottled Iced Coffee and stepping out the door, ready to conquer the world and manifest all I have put my mind to in the AM!
Starbucks has now made it easier than ever to grab and go, which fits in with my lifestyle perfectly. This medium roast brew, sourced from Latin America is a beautiful, rich and smooth flavor that starts my morning as perfect as ever. I am all about my coffee being black and to the point, so I usually go for the unsweetened. Although at times my sweet tooth kicks in and I opt for the sweetened version. Being able to pick these up from Walgreens while I’m on the go or have them stocked in the fridge makes my morning incredibly efficient and enjoyable!
